How do I sign up as a trainer on FitFinder?
There are two ways! You can contact us at contact@fitfinder.fit, and we can schedule a 15-minute virtual meetup, or you can download the app and start filling out personal information, and we will reach out to verify you. Welcome on board already!
What is the process for hiring a trainer through FitFinder?
FitFinder helps you find a trainer based on who you are. You can either check out our recommended trainers (contact us to learn more at contact@fitfinder.fit) or browse through a list of trainers. Feel free to message your trainer to learn more, and once everything is set up, go to the Trainer Profile -> Book, where you’ll choose a date and time. Finally, confirm the details and send the request. Don’t worry—you won’t be charged until the trainer accepts the booking request.
How can I ensure that my profile stands out as a trainer?
FitFinder supports trainers in being more accessible and accountable in their online presence. One suggestion: as a personal trainer, show your connection by having a neat and clean profile photo that shows your face.
What qualifications do trainers need to be listed on FitFinder?
First and foremost, we welcome everybody! Personal trainers, fitness instructors, and coaches, as well as new trainers who are eager to learn and gain experience, are all welcome. We verify our trainers and display their certificates if applicable.
Are there any fees?
Yes, FitFinder takes a 10% booking fee, as well as a 3% payment processing fee. Your receipt and invoice will be available after you successfully complete the session on your Booking Details page.
How does the booking and payment process work on FitFinder?
Bookings are handled through FitFinder, and we use Stripe for payment processing for each booking. Every two weeks, we distribute payouts to trainers for their combined earnings within that period.
What measures does FitFinder take to ensure the safety and verification of trainers?
We conduct document, certificate, and ID checks for verified trainers and hold in-person or online meetings to build trust and welcome trainers to the FitFinder network.
Is it safe to make an online payment?
FitFinder ensures that confidential information is protected through all transactions. FitFinder uses Stripe to be sure that payment has been safely transferred.
